How AI can benefit your business

Google discovers 40,000 Android apps with security flaw

This week, Google announced that it had discovered 40,000 apps containing a critical security flaw. The company says it plans to remove all of these apps from Google Play and its other app marketplaces over time.


Apple design patent granted for dual rear camera

The U.S. Patent and Trademark Office has granted Apple a design patent for a dual-camera system it could potentially use in future iPhones. The document, titled Electronic Device Design, describes a smartphone with dual rear cameras mounted on either side of an elongated camera bump. The patent was first filed for in March 2016 and published today by USPTO.

Amazon testing cashier-less store in Seattle

In June 2017, Amazon opened a physical store in Seattle that is not only cashier-less, but also stocks just four items. The Amazon Go is located at 2131 7th Ave and allows customers to scan their app when they enter. Cameras then track them around and charge them for whatever they take from shelves.


Amazon Offers Prime Subscribers Another Way to Save on Groceries

Starting today, Amazon Prime subscribers who pay for Whole Foods deliveries via Amazon's Prime Now service will be able to get discounts at checkout.
